ASOS Tall Inseams: Reading W/L Sizes

Treat waist and length as two separate choices. The size label can be more useful than the word ‘Tall’.

The lengths, with context

Each number belongs to the chart or product named below, not every size or color.

How ASOS measures

ASOS measures the natural waist, then the inside leg from crotch to ankle bone. Its own-brand charts describe body measurements; other brands sold on ASOS can fit differently.

Body-to-floor, body-to-ankle and garment-to-hem measurements are not interchangeable. Follow the retailer’s method, then compare with a pair that gives you the hem position you want.

Before you order

  • W is the waist-size label and L is the leg-length label. Check both.
  • A model wearing L36 does not establish that every variant is L36 or that this option remains available.
  • Cropped cuts and rolled cuffs change hem position. Read Size & Fit for the exact product.

We checked retailer-published information, not garments in a first-hand fit test. Charts and availability can change.
